Question.  What if I have plants on the outside of my pool fence?

Answer.  As long as it is deemed non climable and can not hold the weight of a young child (approx 25kg)

Question. What form is required when selling or leasing a property with a swimming pool?

Answer. Form 23 Pool safety certificate and this can be located at www.dlpg.qld.gov.au

 

Question. Can I search a web site to see if my pool is registered?

Answer. Yes at www.dlpg.qld.gov.au look for the link "Register your pool'

 

Question. Are swimming pool safety inspectors licenced to inspect a swimming pool?

Answer. Yes.  We are fully licenced swimming pool inspectors.

Question. I have a hedge growing agianst my fence. Is this ok?

Answer. As long as it is deemed non climable and can not hold the weight of a young child (approx 25kg)

 

Question. If my pool is not compliant to the new laws, will you explain these to me in a simple manner?

Answer. Yes we will.

Question. What happens if my pool is issued with a nonconformity notice?
Answer. Within two days you will receieve form 26 a pool safety noncormity notice staing what needs to be completed and suggested ways of fixing the isses. You have up to 90 days to have the pool re-inspected.

Question.  We rent our house out which has a pool.  Are we required to a have Pool Safety Certificate?

Answer.  Yes you are.  Pool certificate must always be current.  Every two years.
